The owner of this delightful 1934 Wolseley Hornet Special has asked me to offer it for sale and dropped it off at the workshop today. The car has its original Eustace Watkins body and is driven by Wolseley's sweet 1271cc 6 cylinder engine. With 45bhp at 4500rpm it is quite a nippy machine. The Light Car magazine review that is included in the history file recorded "76mph against the watch" and also states that it is "...low, businesslike and pleasing". The current owner's father-in-law bought it from Real Car Co. in 1999 and has taken very good care of it in the interim. I'll be giving it a once over in the next few days, expect to see it on the Inventory page soon.
