Triumph TR6 in the workshop

There have been a few TR6s in recently and here's another. There's a problem with the brake servo, indicated by the engine revving up at idle when the brake pedal is depressed, and it's leaking oil from just about everywhere around the differential so I think I'll be taking that out. It came in with a set of coolant hoses, I've drained the cooling system and replaced the full set. There was a question about the steering, the column lower universal joint securing bolt was loose. The spark plugs looked a bit white, as if the engine is running lean (and more than you'd expect from the servo leak), I found the vacuum hose to the fuel metering unit was a bit loose and starting to perish at the ends, a new hose should sort out the mixture. There are a few other jobs on the owner's list to work through, it should come out as a more useable car.
