Rolls-Royce Silver Spirit in the workshop

This rather nice 1996 Silver Spirit was dropped off on Saturday for a little work. It's a recent purchase, the owner wants me to fix a couple of faults and also carry out some preventive maintenance. The faults are both seat related, he's quite tall and hasn't been able to move the seat back (or forth) and the rear base height wasn't working but the front of the base was ok, as was the reclining. The controller had already been removed and sent for checks and it certainly seemed ok, as in all of the relays were being triggered, but it turns out there are two seat fuses, one fuse for each of the two above functions, so that was straightforward, one had blown - shame it hadn't been spotted before. I've still got to strip the seat as whoever removed and refitted the controller failed to secure any of the wiring look and I can't leave it all hanging. On the maintenance front I'm going to fit a new radiator, replace the coolant with the correct type, replace the differential oil and also the front brake hoses.
