Porsche 928S2 assumes the position

The Porsche 928S2 engine rebuild has stalled several times over the years, it being my car I've tended to focus on those belonging to customer's instead. Most recently it was because of a broken m5 oil level sender bolt in the sump but success last week in removing 12 broken bolts from a rusted Toyota Celica fuel tank encouraged me to have a go at it and I was successful. With the sender fitted I could fit the sump, with that back on there was nothing stopping me from getting the enigne back in the car so I did that today. I surprised myself a bit, there's not a lot of space and it is a rather large engine but it turned out ok. The fact that the clutch goes in once the engine is installed helps, it goes in a lot like an American V8, straight down. I've also refitted the air conditioning compressor, power steering pump and all of the belts are on and adjusted, still a way to go but I am happy to have a whole car again.
