Determined to see an end to this 'old workshop' theme here's the penultimate reminder about the Open Day I am having this Saturday (10am-4pm). If you have not been to the workshop before you can find the full address and a map on the contact page of my website, look out for a chequered flag at the roadside. As for the photo, taken in 2003, it shows my first 'official' workshop a week or so after moving in. It was in San Luis Obispo proper, in a small estate of similar units on Capitolio Way. The Camaro was the reason I made the leap, it needed an engine rebuild, enough work to justify the risk. One job followed another and I fixed quite a few cars owned by friends, enough to keep me occupied and learning until I moved back over here in 2005. The other car in the picture is my Mk2 Sprite, I brought it over when I returned and completely restored it over many years, it is now in a collection in Germany.
