Another MGB in the workshop

This early 70s MGB was dropped off earlier this week, the owner has just bought it and wanted me to give a going over. Initial impressions are good, it's clearly been restored well and there's nothing wrong with the suspension or brakes but I did notice an oil leak at the back when it was dropped off that's turned out to be coming from the axle tube to differential carrier joint - not seen that before. Someone has thrown some JB-Weld at it but, as ever, that's not worked. I'll be finding out tomorrow if if it's a case of swapping it out now or leaving it for a while - it's hardly pouring out. Tomorrow I'll be changing the engine oil and making sure everything under the bonnet is hunky dory.
