Something else you don't see every day, this Vanden Plas Princess was dropped off at the workshop today. It's started losing its coolant and I'm going to look into why the starter motor turns the engine so slowly - I'll check all of the electrical contacts first of course but I imagine it's because the starter motor is getting on for 60 years old and, what with Rolls-Royce's traditional dependability, it will benefit from what might well be its first overhaul.
