Singer Bantam in the workshop
This is something a little different, in fact it might be the only one with this type of body. It's a recent purchase for the owner and he's finding some teething problems with a restoration carried out by someone else. The main issue is with the steering, which I found to be down to a missing bolt in the steering box to frame bracket and a loose pitman arm pinchg bolt, both easy to fix. The steering still feels a bit heavy, even with the front end off the ground, so I'll do a little more digging into why this might be so. There's also quite the oil leak at the front of the engine, there are some pipes and fittings that have a lot of oil around them so I'll start there.
