The 1949 Triumph 2000 Roadster has found itself a new owner this week. I've got a couple of jobs to finish off on the car in the next few days, actually I have the engine out and crankshaft at the machine shop. It should all go back together easily enough with new bearings and bottom end gaskets, had to do this work as the oil pressure wan't good and the engine had a tendency to go tight when warm. It's a bit of a shame for the seller as someone was supposed to have already done this work. At the same time I'm much happier that it broke down in my workshop, it allows me to do a proper job and all parties will be happy.
