In typical Rolls-Royce fashion the clutch on the Silver Wraith, whilst it would just about move the car and got the owner home the last time they used it, was completely worn out, down to the rivets on the engine side and split on the pressure plate side but didn't actually 'fail to proceed'. It'll have new pressure and friction plates as well as torque reaction buffers and a new gearbox mount, should be good to go by the end of next week.
