Rolls-Royce Phantom II fuel gauge

Whilst I am waiting for the rear wheels to be rebuilt the owner of the Phantom II asked if I'd remove the fuel gauge and sender and send them away to ARP Ltd. to have it converted to electronic. The original Hobson Telegauge recently stopped working, more than likely due to the volatile chemicals having evaporated. ARP turned it around really quickly and today I refitted both parts and it's tested and working just fine. Unobtrusively too. As it's a bit tricky tapping into the ignition circuit on a Phantom I ran it from the live fuse box on the firewall through a vintage switch mounted behind the dashboard.
