With the work on the engine rebore & nikasil plating at Capricorn Automotive continuing apace I have started to clean up the engine bay in readiness. For a nearly 40 year old car it is in remarkable condition, testament to the extremely low mileage and many years of storage. A bit of soap and water took care of the dirt on the inner wings & frame and I've also removed the steering rack subframe & associated brackets with a view to having them blasted & painted. I'm going to have all of the removed bolts yellow cadmium plated so I can put it back together as close to original as possible.
