A bit of a relief today, since I took the rear wheels off the Phantom II and left it in the middle of the workshop I've regretted it, have had to shuffle things to and fro to get around it. Yesterday one of the wheels I sent to Nick Mouat came back and I had the guys at KLS in Galgate fit the rim tape, tube & tyre and this meant I could get the car back on the ground and mobile. I'd already replaced the spare tyre, when the other wheel comes back from Nick I'll fit that to the axle as the nut in the spare isn't so easy to start the threads. I've also removed, cleaned and gapped the plugs, sorted out a leak from the Autovac tap and it seems to be running well, test drive will be next.
