Mustang engine back in the car
Last week I threatened to put the Mustang engine back in the car as it was just about ready to go, the refitting went really well, the hooking back up has thrown up small snagging issues that have all, now, been resolved. The new manifold and carburettor meant finding somewhere suitable to mount the coil, a spare lug on the back of the air conditioning compressor seems well suited. I also fabricated a new fuel pipe from the pump to the carburettor, sourced and fitted a throttle return spring and bracket, added wiring for the electric choke, modified the low pressure return pipe in the back of the power steering pump reservoir to move it away from the oil pressure sender and fitted a new engine bay wiring loom as the old one was falling to bits. The owner had the original radiator rebuilt so I've swapped out the aluminium aftermarket one I installed a few years ago and have fitted a new shroud. The next thing to do is fire it up.

Great update on the Mustang engine rebuild and refitting process. Using the right Lubricants is essential for reducing friction, protecting engine components, and supporting smooth performance after an engine rebuild. Proper lubrication can also help improve reliability and extend the service life of key engine parts.
