This MG F was dropped off for some work this morning. A friend in the trade was getting it ready to go back its owner after a while in storage and, once he'd gone through the brakes and whatever else was needed to make it safe, the head gasket gave out. I am also going to replace the cam belt and water pump whilst I am in there and the right side engine mount was broken so that'll be renewed, other than that it should be straightforward. Although saying that the job has clearly be done before, the last mechanic has bonded the plenum to the intake manifold and it's not keen to come off as yet.
