Now that the engine is running and the interior modifications are complete the owner has asked me to take a look at his 1934 Lancia Augusta's sliding pillar front suspension. One of the Lancia Club members loaned me a set of tools to make the job easier and the photo shows it all laid out. There is a little wear in the lower bearings and one is cracked, hopefully it can be repaired and then maybe both metal sprayed and machined back to size. I also found one of the damper drive springs is broken so this will have to be sourced/made before it goes back together.
