I have had a couple of teething problems with the Jensen GT that I did a lot of work on last year but seem to have ironed them out. It had a tendency to wet the spark plugs, causing a misfire, and there was a smell of fuel in the cabin. The over fuelling was traced to inappropriate float heights in the Dellortos and I found a cracked breather hose in the filler neck, the replacement of which has seemingly cured the other fault. I took it over to the classic car meet at Farm Yard Ales in Cockerham last week, Dynamo was navigating of course, and it ran really well. Photo courtesy of Paul Shawcross.
