I mostly finished off the assembly of the XJ6 engine yesterday morning, at least enough of it to be able to fit it back in the car. Today I've been fitting and connecting the ancillaries and it's almost complete, just a few small jobs like replacing cracked fuel hoses, replacing the plug seal on the back of the left cam cover. One small step backwards was the front exhaust manifold down pipe flange broke where it's been welded in the past, bit of a bummer but I've sourced a good used item to replace it. I'm hoping to be able to drive it by Friday.
