Humber Snipe in the workshop

This rather nice Humber Snipe was dropped off this afternoon for a couple of jobs. There's a noise from the upper end of the engine, seemingly related to cylinder 2, and there's no second gear in the de Normanville epicyclic safety gearbox. There's so much torque in the engine that the owner has been making do with pulling away in 3rd but it would be nice if it was all working correctly.
