A customer dropped off his Derby Bentley at the workshop this afternoon, he's taking it on a long distance tour in a few weeks and, in addition to a service and general check, he's asked me to have the starter motor and dynamo overhauled. The last time it came in I had the speedometer drive re-geared and a new cable made to cure a flicking and incorrect speedometer needle - it was nice to hear that it is all now working as it should.
