Bristol Brigand in the workshop

Along with the El Camino and 505 GTi that came in yesterday, and tying in nicely with the recent big engined black coupes, was this Bristol Brigand. It's been in before, never really needs much as it's a well used example. This time I was to look into why the driver's seat wouldn't go back and forth, which seems to have fixed itself, and there's an ugly noise from the engine bay, which turned out to be worn bearings in the under 3 year old aftermarket alternator. As the alternator was functioning I called Ribblesdale down in Preston to see if they'd put new bearings in, that way I might get better quality and longer life than those fitted by the manufacturer. They are coming for it tomorrow, knowing how they work I'll have it back early next week.
