Regular readers might recognise this Bristol 400 that was dropped off yesterday for some work, with it being chassis number 1 it's really a piece of automotive history. The owner is planning some trips for it later in the Spring and the Summer so it's mostly a matter of a service, oil and filter change and a thorough check over. Today I traced a fault with the interior lamp to the earth wiring behind the headlining - fortunately the headlining and the woodwork are in good condition so it all went back together easily. I am also going to fit a larger fire extinguisher, there is space in the footwell above the passenger's left leg.
