This rather interesting Bradford Utility was dropped off over the weekend to have a few jobs carried out. The driver's seat wasn't secured to its runners, not good, so the runners have been relocated and it's now secured to the floor. The brakes aren't great and whilst I'm pretty sure a lot of that will be related to the seat not being secure I have drilled out all of the joints in the brake control rods and fitted slightly oversized clevis pins and taken out all of the slack. I've fixed a small issue with the choke control and another with the dipped beam switch. The owner reports that the steering wanders, in addition to finding the steering box mount bolt a little loose I think it might have a lot to do with the ancient tyres, the rears are Michelin remoulds and seriously cracked in the sides as well as ballooning.
