You really do get a lot of car for your money with one of these, as the new owner is about to find out when he drives it home next week. Since the asking price was dropped it has drawn quite a bit of attention, unsurprisingly, but there were a couple of niggles that needed sorting. The rear suspension has been bouncy for a while now, a new pair of gas spheres were fitted and that problem was sorted. It then went for MoT test and a small rust hole was uncovered behind the right front spring, this meant removal of the strut for access and during this too much stress was put on the brake pad warning sensor so that has also been replaced. Lastly the rear bumper was slightly misaligned on the left side and that was also an easy fix. Now it is good to finally go, I will miss driving it but I won't miss it taking up space in the workshop.
