TX Tripper in the workshop

Here's something you don't see every day, a factory built 1976 Technical Exponents TX Tripper. Quite the mouthful. The owner has a somewhat esoteric collection and we are slowly working through it, deciding what to sell, what to keep, what to fix, what to leave alone. This one will be for sale once I've been over it. It's built onto a GT6 chassis with 1500 Triumph Spitfire engine, it's been restored at some point so the whole car is in really excellent condition. The brakes will need looking at due to it having sat for a while and I'll also go through a standard checklist under the bonnet, making sure the fuel and ignition systems are up to scratch and putting fresh fluids in where I can. I'm quite looking forward to taking it up the road.

I visited the old Fairthorpe/Technical Exponents factory last year. The moulds for some of the cars are still there and I think they include the TX Tripper
