Porsche 928S2, next installment

The last time I wrote about my Porsche 928 was to say it was finally running, what I didn't know, but found out quite quickly, was that the clutch hydraulics had given up the ghost in the interim. The master & slave cylinders and the flexible hose were all original, I sourced a new master cylinder and hose and a rebuild kit for the slave and whilst they went on ok bleeding the system was a bit of a pain. Unfortunately it still wasn't fixed, it appears the inner plate of the twin plate clutch must have stuck as when I dropped the clutch cover I couldn't turn the prop with the throw-out pulled. I was able to turn the engine around and apply a bit of leverage to the clutch, seemingly enought to free it as when I put it all back together the clutch works. And so does eveything else, so far. The timing was good, I've been wanting to move it the front of the workshop so I could finally run it up to temperature with the exhaust out of the door and with the Mustang coming in on Saturday I needed the space it's been in. I took the photo as this is the first time it's moved under it's own power for a very long time. Once I've run it for a while I'll book an MoT test, then I can register it as Historic and see if I can get it on the road before the salt starts getting laid down. I'd kind of forgotten how good looking these are, I haven't been able to see it properly for so long.
