The owner of this 1986 Ford Capri 2.8i has decided to let it go following a change of circumstances. He took a chance on it a couple of years ago, buying it from a friend when the engine was in bits, and then had me rebuild the engine and go through the car to make it safe for the road. The engine was rebored, new pistons and crankshaft bearings fitted, the starter & alternator were overhauled and when it went back in a set of new downpipes hooked it up to the exhaust and an aluminium radiator installed for cooling. The interior is in very good condition, the Recaro seats show little signs of wear, the carpets are clean & dry and the headlining is excellent. The electrics have bene gone through, everything on that side of things is now working as it should. The bodywork is, overall, really good but there are some areas that, to make it perfect, would benefit from some attention.
