I've been asked to offer up this 1978 MGB GT by a friend who's run out of space. He's had it for around 5 years and it's been used for running around on the better days. It's a strong contender for daily driver as it runs well, the shell is sound, and the interior is tidy.

Whilst the car clearly has signs of age and use the structure is very solid with no signs of rust in places like the rear spring hangers and jacking points. The bonnet was replaced due to a misunderstanding between the latch and the catch - the original came open whilst being driven (it is included but is a bit dented). The Webasto roof is starting to look a bit tired along the sides but as it's only been driven in the sunshine it's been open most of the time so it doesn't show up so much. The interior is neat & tidy, the dash looks like it should, the seats are clean and not torn, even the carpets look ok.

The engine fires up easily from cold on the choke (no peg required - the choke locks itself) and idles just fine when it's warmed through. During the current ownership it's not needed anything other than regular servicing and the usual maintenance.
