This VW Beetle 1303 has been in the same ownership since 1991 but has not been much used of late so it's time for someone else to enjoy it. I've rebuilt the carburettor, bled the brakes and replaced the track rods but that's all it's needed. It now starts on the button, and drives like a Beetle should. With a recent set of tyres fitted all you have to do is drive it.

Original metallic blue, the car was subjected to a lot of work and a respray in this rather jolly Yellow around the year 2000 (invoices on file). Overall the bodywork is really good with just couple of small dents (one in the roof, one in the right side rear wing - both look like they could be worked out) and a stone chip on the leading edge of the right rear wing (see video below). The bumpers and hub caps are a bit spotted but they clean up really well and don't let the side down.

The interior is very original, seats are not torn and are all comfortable, at least as far as you can say that for a car of this type. A carpet set has been fitted over the original rubber floor mats and it's in good condition. The headlining is excellent. There is one small crack in the top of the dashboard, above the speedometer.

I've always liked the Beetle, it's a clever car that's easy to work on and with a large number of parts suppliers you'll never be off the road for long. If ever.
