This 1972 home market flame red MGB roadster has been with its current owners since 2013 but due to lack of use is now available to buy. It was completely restored back to bare shell in 2013 and still looks and drives great.

The bodywork and paint is in excellent order with good shut lines all round and only a couple of small marks. The underside is almost as good as the top, presented in body colour with a stone chip protection product underneath. Chrome trim is also very good with just some slight pitting on the bumpers, barely discernible when they are polished. The all black interior presents well, the leather seats being very comfortable and nicely worn in. The dashboard is all correct and as original. The only issue I've found with the exterior is a small split in one of the soft top side window seams and the roof is also missing one of the clips that secure it to the top of the b-post.

The engine was blueprinted and balanced when it was rebuilt during the restoration and now fires up easily and provides plenty of pulling power. The rest of the engine bay is as it should be, correct wiring and no bodges. The gearbox, with overdrive, is smooth in its operation, the whole driving experience being a delight. It is sitting on its originally supplied Rostyle wheels, recently shod with new rubber.
