I've carried out the last few jobs on the Tatra engine rebuild this week: filled the sump, fixed a leaking fuel pump bowl seal, put some fresh fuel in, replaced the broken battery terminals, charged the battery, buttoned up the exhaust silencers. When I tried to start it I found there was a short in the low tension circuit under the cap that that prevented it from firing up. With this fixed it kicked off straight away and sounded really nice. I haven't run it for long as it is missing the tray that goes under the sump and this is major part of the cooling system.
