As I mentioned previously the owner of the Sizaire Freres 4RI wanted a machine turned effect on the dashboard, not something too perfect, more like it had been done in a bit of rush to get a race car out of the door. The panel was not entirely smooth but that doesn't seem to have mattered. I bought a pillar drill I'd been promising myself and nice tool for the job from a company in Ulverston. It all worked out just right, I think the effect is suitable for the car and it sets off the instrument panel quite well.
