When I first did some work on this car last year the owner talked about upgrading the 2-speed transmission to a 3-speed and subsequently sourced a new gearbox & torque converter. Today the car was dropped off for this job and a bit of a tune-up. I've still got some working out to do with regards the shift linkage and column gate, should be an interesting project.
