1949 Rover P3 75
This well cared for Rover P3 has been with the current owner for 10 years but a change of circumstances means he's asked me to offer it for sale. The car was overhauled in the late 1980s, I'd hesitate to say restored but from the photographs in the file it looks like a lot of work was carried out. More work was carried out when it came into the current owner's hands and this has stood the test of time. With regards bodywork the first thing to say is that there is no rust and it is as solid as the day it left the factory. The black paint has a lot of depth except on the boot lid, this could probably be rectified with a proper flat and polish. Exterior chrome is excellent and I particularly like the design, and condition, of the exterior door handles. Does that make me odd? The interior has original look carpets, seats and door cards re-trimmed in black vinyl and a very nice headlining and rear privacy blind. The engine fires up easily from cold and is running very well with a sweet sounding burble from the exhaust. From the above mentioned photographs it looks like the engine was completely overhauled along with everything else. There is a file containing receipts for all work and parts over many years as well as original workshop manuals and the buff logbook. Please call or email for more details and to arrange an inspection and test drive.
